And a fair warning on what this is: we read proportions and turn them into a place to start, nothing more. It is not a verdict on your face and we won't hand you one — the tidy face-shape categories you've read about turn out not to hold up when you actually measure faces. Which hat you end up in is a matter of occasion, taste and head size, and none of those are in a photograph.
